Today’s Prayer (09/29/2020)

Lord, have mercy upon the souls of men. So many people are on the pathway to hell and don’t even realize it. Some of them may think that they are saved, but really their soul is on the verge of destruction come death. I wish that people would learn to fear You as I do. Then, would people think twice before playing their precious video game consoles. They would think twice before they go out and purchase a new gaming console like the Xbox or PlayStation. If people really loved You, then there would be no time for gaming such as this, but only seeking Your hand in Bible Study, prayer, worship, ministry, and loving one another. The day that I was set free from console gaming, plus steam, was the day that I found so much more time to read the Bible, pray, and to also witness Your truths with others on the streets. There is love in my heart towards others, while there used to be selfishness. I am no longer tied down by the idols of this life but are carried away in the treasures that only come from heaven. Lord, it is my ultimate desire in life to be drawn to You daily. I don’t want any more distractions in my life, but to be completely made whole by Your mighty hand. It is my prayer that more people will be set free from their idols. And only You can help them understand what they are seeking is worldly in nature and also has consequences, lest they repent. How could people allow the enemy to steal their souls away like this? Surely, he has come and crept into houses and planted these devices, that more people would give themselves over to them and not You. This is disheartening and it brings me to tears to know what has happened in this evil and wicked generation. Come, Jesus! May the lost come to You while there still is time. I believe in You. I love You, God. Amen.

Matthew 6:19-23

Matthew 6:19-23 (KJV)
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
