God’s love is for all. We know this for a fact because of His mercy towards us. We have all gone astray and turned our back to God. He could have easily wrote us off but instead He took us back when we needed Him most. Only the Lord could be so patient with us. 1“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” We will never understand 1“the mighty acts of the Lord.” What He does for our lives is magnificent and worthy of all praise. 2When God is in our lives, we are able to 1“keep judgment” to ourselves and not others. 3We leave all judgement in the hands of Jesus, the Son of God. For it is His rightful place to judge us all. Those that seek the Lord can be made holy. God can mend our hearts to follow Him above the world. Through His hand, there is on display 1“righteousness at all times.” We don’t have any way of acting this way on our own. However, with the Lord in our lives, we can do all things. Seek after the Lord’s goodness and you will be blessed. He will watch over you. Pray, 1“Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation.” If you asked God to remember you and come into your life, then God will answer you. Your openness to the Lord will allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. All this is because you put your trust in God. Our faith in Him is powerful.
God can see the goodness in our lives. Especially if we are being led by Him. If anything good has come, it is from His matchless love. Every good work is glorious indeed, with the Lord in our lives. 4God’s works are what we are made for. Our own works can be useful in life but never for salvation. For this reason, think about who you are being led by. If it is your own strength and not the Lord then these things have no merit for salvation. Sure, we can achieve different things in life. That can be great in all, but wouldn’t it be better if God was at the head? His guidance would lead us to do things for His will and not our own. Even greater things we could achieve when we give our attention to God. Everyone that has chosen the better part in life, which is God, will be blessed to enter heaven. I pray that you will see how great of a choice you have made to follow Jesus. 1“Rejoice in the gladness of” the Lord. Glory in His salvation. If you are not at this point with God now, then come to Him and say, I 1“have sinned with our fathers”, I 1“have committed iniquity” and am so sorry. Ask God to forgive you for provoking Him for so long. If you are sincere in your confession of your sins, the Spirit of God will come and redeem you through the blood of Jesus. He does this 1“for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.” Praise the Lord for saving us all, though we don’t deserve it. Thank You Lord.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, help us all come and be led by the Spirit. Have a hand in our lives. Move us to do Your mighty works and not our own. May my works be Your works. Help us to look to You in faith. I know that I am apt to stumble in life without you. I need You to help me to walk in Your light. I am only a wanderer in this life without You. I don’t wish to be led astray but to follow my King. I am thankful for Your mercy. Thank You for forgiving me though I have fallen so many times. I was so lost without You. Thank You for taking me in when I called Your Name. You never let me down. Surely, Your mercy endures forever. I am humbled to have Your presence in my life. I love You. Amen.
