Give heed to the counsel of God. He knows your every need. He desires the best for your life. Like an earthly who loves their children and would do anything for them. God is our Father in heaven and will never forsake us. His loving kindness has no end. There is nothing He would not do for us. We are the apple of His eye. We are His best creation. When God created us in His image He said, 1“it was very good”. It isn’t His desire that we are left alone on earth. Earthly relationships with our wife, kids and family are important but He can make them better. A relationship with the Lord, in prayer, will strengthen your life and the lives around you. All this takes is time. Make the Lord a priority and things will take shape for the better in your life. You may feel like an outsider looking in, now, but all this can change. Jesus said, 3“For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” All He desires is that you do His will and you are a part of His eternal family. We are to live in the light of Christ and not the world to be on His side. 4“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
How grateful I am to have such a loving Father. To be called the son of the Most High God means the world to me. For this reason, I never want to lose this relationship with God. It is too important. I know that Jesus is the way to eternal life. My faith in Him will pull me through life’s problems. I can learn to love more deeply than ever before with the Lord in my life. Only through Him can I tame the lusts of the flesh. I can walk uprightly before God because the Holy Spirit dwells inside of me. I am directed by God’s hand and I obey. This is the will of the Lord. Pray often and this will be the desire of your heart. David prayed, 2“I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.” He knew God was there and is there for us. He continued His prayer, 2“Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.” The wicked oppressed him often but He was glad for the Lord was with him. Just as David said, I will declare, 2“As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.”
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, to do Your will is my heart’s desire. Cast out all the darkness from my life, that I might always commune in your light. You are my Father and I honor You. I give my life to serve You, my King. Direct my path. I love You. Amen.
