There are two paths in life. The narrow gate, which “leadeth unto life” in heaven and the wide gate, which “leadeth to destruction” in hell. Jesus says there are few who find His path. Most people are of the world and may not even know it. There are many that say they believe in Christ but live a life of filth. They have not truly accepted Jesus in their hearts and God is not with them. The Lord says that false prophets will come in sheep’s clothing “but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Those in Christ will see them for who they are. Those without the Holy Spirit will be deceived by their flattering words. Know that these false churches are not preparing people to meet God. There false beliefs are leading people down the broad path to hell. They use extra Biblical teachings to sway men and women into believing their false doctrines. We must be wise and not heed them. Seek the Lord and be open to hearing the truth of God in your life. Don’t wait till tomorrow to repent and come to Christ. We must live our life now for Jesus. Those without the light of Christ in their lives could one day be found saying the following in judgement, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” The time to repent is now. Jesus is calling all people to come to Him. Receive Jesus in your hearts and ask for forgiveness. Let Him be the King of your lives and He will speak truth to your minds. Seek the Lord and you will come to know Him personally. He will breathe on you the Holy Spirit. Those in Christ are welcome in heaven. For they love Jesus and walk daily in His ways. He is on their hearts and their minds.
I declare that there is a heaven and there is a hell. All those in heaven are in paradise with the Lord. All those in hell are suffering in fire and brimstone. The Lord doesn’t want anyone to go to hell. It is our choices that lead us away from His love. Choose ye this day to live a life for Christ. If sin is what is blocking your path to Him, pray for deliverance. If a false religion has you captive than pray to know the truth of God. Ask Jesus to break down the walls of addiction and unbelief. If your heart is sincere than He will cut lose the chains that have you bound. He will make you a new creation in Him. Your hearts will no longer be led astray but be led by the hand of the Lord. As your mind is given over to Him, you will no longer seek what is unholy but was is wholesome in His sight. You will begin to hear God’s voice through scripture. He will speak to your hearts as you read the Word of God. In prayer, the Lord will give you peace of mind. Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to Your truth. For many years I followed a false religion in Mormonism but You opened my eyes to its deceit. You showed me that Your true gospel is in the Bible. That following another gospel is not of You but of Satan. Thank You for bringing me out of this cult. Though my heart was so cold to You, You have lit a fire in my soul that cannot be put out. My battle with sin and unbelief is over and You helped me through it. You spoke so plainly to my mind through the words of the Bible. You are a God of miracles for You cured my wicked heart. My life is now full of peace and joy. Your love abounds in my soul. No longer am I afraid of going to hell for Your love has caught me up in Your presence. You have made it sure in my life that I am loved and that I will see You in heaven. I love You, my Lord.
Matthew 7:13-16;21-23 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
