Bow down before the Lord in prayer. Give Him thanks, this day, for His unfailing grace. For we aren’t worthy of His love but He shows it just the same. He is ever so kind though we don’t deserve it. He is compassionate towards us, no matter our circumstances. Through His blood we are found worthy before the King. We are washed clean from all our filth and rags. He has taken away our sorrows and filled us with His love. We were dead through our sins but are now alive in Christ the Lord. The world has no power over us for Jesus is in control. Our lusts of the flesh are able to be controlled for Jesus is our strength. We no longer walk and stumble through life but are guided by the light. We trust in the Lord for wisdom and knowledge. It our hope that one day we can “sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. What a wonderful time this will be to be in the presence of our God.
Oh Lord, I praise your Name above all names. Holy, holy is your Name. You stand supreme. Mighty are your works. Worthy is the lamb who died for all mankind. You suffered and bled that we might live again. I can never be so grateful. I was once ruled by the world but You had compassion on me. I once had no control over my flesh but You have given me self-control. You have cast aside all darkness from my life. You are the light that guides my path. I am renewed through your great love. I can feel your abundant mercy in my life. Though I stumble and fall, I know I am always welcome back in your presence. I need You every hour, Lord. Continue to shield my eyes from the vials of the enemy. Lead me in your righteousness, Oh God. I love your counsel. Your words speak to my soul and help me know how to walk. Thank You Jesus for all that you are to me. You are my dearest friend. I trust You Lord. I love You.
Ephesians 2:1-7 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
