I have been listening to your evangelism and enjoying it. On “dont catholics know the 2nd commmandment” you said at point 24:28 mark that you need to speak in tongues if you are baptized with the Spirit according to Acts 2. If I never spoke in tongues, am I unsaved?
Speaking in tongues is one of the spritual gifts that people can gain from God. However, not all people have this gift. So you can be saved without having this specific gift.
1 Corinthians 14:4,5 (KJV)
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
5 I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
As 1 Corinthians 12 reads, the gifts of the Spirit are…
1. Word of Wisdom
2. Word of Knowledge
3. Faith
4. Gift of Healing
5. Working of Miracles
6. Prophesy
7. Discerning of Spirits
8. Divers kinds of Tongues
9. Interpretation of Tongues.

I agree with Joseph 98% of the time except for his emphasis that if you don’t have all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, that means you are not saved. He also preaches several times that salvation once attained can be lost if we still continue to sin willfully/unwillfully. I would appreciate a clarification on both of them but a more concise explanation on the latter would be awesome. Thank you!
