Mary wondered how she could be pregnant, being kept modest in all things before the Lord. She had waited till marriage for any sexual relations.
Soon after this visitation, the angel also visited Joseph. He told him to not fear his wife’s pregnancy for what she is carrying “is of the Holy Ghost.”
Many centuries passed but this sign of the baby Jesus’s birth was not forgotten. People anxiously awaited the coming of their King.
Being led by God is much different than being led by your own self and hoping or thinking you are saved.
