In the beginning, God and man had a relationship.
Our Problem:
Sin came into the world and our relationship with God was broken. Because of sin we are separated from God. Â All have sinned and fallen short of
Man’s Attempted Solutions:
- Good person
- Good works
- Religion
God’s Solution:
God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world. Â Jesus was born to free us from our sins. Â He willingly gave Himself over to the people to die on the cross. Â He suffered and paid the price for our sins because of His great love for us all. Â He made a way that we could have forgiveness, if we turn from our wickedness and accept Jesus into our lives.
Our Choice:
- Accept Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and have forgiveness for your sins. The reward for following Jesus is eternal life. We can walk safely through life and into heaven.
- Deny Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and die in your sins. The punishment for denying Jesus is eternal punishment. In death, the wicked are punished for eternity in hell.
