Oh Lord, I give You thanks for saving me. Although I am not a Jew, Your sacrifice for sins on the cross has allowed me to be a partaker of heaven. Thank You for extending Abraham’s promises to the gentiles, like unto the Jews. You placed me exactly in the family I should be raised in. Not in a Jewish family, but in a family that would be open to receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. Thank You, God. I just pray that not only I but the rest of my family will come unto You fully. Receiving what You did for us on the cross, Jesus, is imperative to our salvation. It must not just be what we’ve heard of, but what we have received in our lives. I receive Your sacrifice God, and I also pray that I may not go back in my sinful state like before. The Holy Spirit was absent then, and I need the Spirit now every hour. Even, every day do I seek Your hand for guidance and direction. Come into my life, Lord, like never before. Take hold of my hand and lead me straightway into heaven. Go against the enemy and strike Him down when He tries to tempt me. It is not worth being found guilty after the fact. Help control the lusts of my flesh, that it might be solely for my wife in marriage. May my eyes be fixed upon You, that others may see my allegiance to my Savior and also follow You. It is my prayer, that my children will grow up knowing You, Jesus, as their Lord, God, and Savior. Light up their lives as You have lit up mine. And may my wife come to know You as I have also. I hope to see my family in heaven one day, while being forever in Your matchless presence. I love You, God. Amen.
