Oh Lord, thank You for making everything work out as it should, for You to come into the world, in order to save us from our sins. I am grateful that David listened to Achish and fled for his life when war was raging upon his city. Because of this, his lineage did continue, and You came into the world from Him. Oh, praise the Lord. All things work out for the good because You are our King and Lord of all. The enemy has no chance to take down the forces of God, for You are stronger. And with Your power in our lives, we can accomplish all things. For surely in our weakness, You make us strong. We can go forward in faith because You have our hands and are ready to fight the battles with us. You know exactly where we ought to go, so I am here to listen and walk where You will lead me. Guide all my steps, that I may walk uprightly in Your sight, and not fall victim to my own pride. In my flesh, I am weak, but You have the power to build me up, where I cannot. And where I have no power over sin, You have given me new desires and a clean heart to serve You. Surely, in myself I am nothing, but in Your will power, I am strong. Thank You for cleansing me and showing me a better way to live my life. I will go where You want me to go. If it means fighting for Your cause, I will do it. And if You would have me run from the enemy, I will flee by Your hand. My life is not my own, but Yours. My body is Your temple, so use me as You will see fit. May I fulfill this life, while walking in Your light and seeing many more souls be saved. I love to witness Your truths, so continue to give me boldness to speak to others. I love You, Lord. You are my God, and I worship You. Amen.

Matthew 2:13-15
Matthew 2:13-15 (KJV)
13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
Today’s Inspiration (01/13/2020)
Certain things had to happen for Jesus to come into the world and be safe. And all this took place because Jesus is our Savior.
Because David Fled, Jesus Came Into The World
Both the account of David and Jesus are very similar and both had to happen, in order for the things of God to take place.
