The Lord desires to say “well done” when we die. Only those that don’t believe in and deny following Him will He say, “depart from me”.
Will God Say, Well Done OR Depart From Me?
The opposite can be said for the unbelievers and those that have once believed in and followed Jesus, but then went their own way.
