The Spirit testifies that the Bible is true. We can come to know the Lord through reading it. Follow Him and hear His voice.
So as 700 plus or minus years past, this prophesy of John the Baptist’s birth and ministry was finally fulfilled.
Oh, that people would have a heart to fear God and keep His commandments in our time as in the past. This is God’s desire for us.
The light that shines upon us all is our Lord, Jesus. He is the chosen Messiah, who was born to save us all from our sins.
John bore witness of the light of Christ. He “was a man sent from God” and prepared the way for the Lord.

Listen to others, and be slow to speak. Many people just need comfort, not criticism. Be considerate of people’s needs.
People can call us prideful or self-righteous, but God knows our hearts. It is God who makes us holy and righteous not people.
Our desires to help others in need is extended to our enemies as well. We go the extra mile, even though it may seem hard at first.
