Mormon Teachings That Don’t Agree With The Bible

Morning Teachings don’t always agree with the Bible. Jesus told the Sadducees the same thing in Matthew 22:29, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.” Here are just a few examples where the Mormon Church’s teachings don’t add up to the Word of God.
On this page, the Mormon Teachings are compared to the Bible Teachings. Please open your heart to what the Bible teaches. My opinion is excluded for the Word of God speaks. It is better to be led by God than man. The Mormon Teachings subsections have links to their teachings ( and, while the Bible Teachings subsections have links to God’s teachings from the Bible.

If you have been convicted of the truth of God, through God’s Word, then I invite you to resign from the Mormon Church. No longer be deceived but come to know Jesus Christ of the Bible. 1. Veil in the temple was torn when Jesus died/Mormon temple still has a veil one needs to pass through.

Different priesthoods. Usually only one High Mel. Priest and Jesus became the last/ Mormons have lots of High Mel. Priest. And other priesthood differences.

Differences in what goes in the temple in the bible and in the Mormon temple.

Gospel of grace and living by faith/ Mormon gospel of works, ordinances, and tokens needed for salvation.

Bible says there is heaven and hell/ Mormons have degrees and you earn your way to the top-kind of like FreeMasons have degrees that you climb your way up to

I think there a lot more things to add.

    • Thank you for these ideas. I just started this page two days ago so you are right that it has a lot more to add. I’ll be listening to yours and others suggestions and be adding them shortly. God bless you. One other thing I am going to add is… Those that believe in Jesus are made sons and daughters of God. Not everyone are children of God like Mormons believe.
      John 1:11-13 KJV
[11] He came unto his own, and his own received him not. [12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: [13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
