Make A Joyful Noise To God

Look up into the heavens and make a joyful noise to God. Make your petitions known before Him. Give unto the Lord your worship and praise. Sing a new song to the one true God, Almighty. If you are gifted to play instruments, play them with gladness to God, our King. He loves it when we come together in worship. This is one reason why we come together in fellowship at a church gathering. In this place, we can sing out with our hands lifted up high to Jesus, our Savior. But this doesn’t have to stop here, but all throughout the week also. David also wrote, “make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.” (Psalm 98:4-6) Please know that God wants to hear from you, so call upon Him now.

God’s creation cries out in anthems of praises to the Lord God, who saves. Although the human race is less likely to give Him praise, His people are apt to call upon His name and worship Him. Know that the Lord is returning. Jesus comes with judgment, and with the mighty angels in His midst. God is good, and when He judges it is in righteousness. Lastly, David said, “let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together. Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.” (Psalm 98:7-9) Who’s side are you on? The Lord’s side or the side of the devil? It is important to know who our King is, and also acknowledge Him in our lives on a day-to-day basis. We are set apart in Christ Jesus and love His righteous judgments. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I give You praise. You are so good. We don’t deserve Your goodness, but You showcase it nonetheless. I’ve often wondered why You never gave up on me when I was living for the flesh. I didn’t have a care in the world to live for You, but still, You didn’t give up on me. It is amazing that You stuck by me during these years of willful sin. Sure, I was chastised during this time, in order to know our sinful my life really was. Thankfully, my conscience was not seared during these early years. If I had not listened to You, while putting You out of my mind, then I would be under Your wrath. Lord, it did take time for me to come out of the mess I was in, but with Your hand in my life, I was able the impossible. You have saved me and brought me out of darkness and into Your light. Therefore, I give You all my praise and worship. I love You, Jesus. I trust in You, God. Amen.
