When Does God Hear Our Prayers?

If you want God to hear your prayers and also forgive your sins, you must first do these four things.  1, Humble yourself before God.  2, Pray to God.  Don’t repeat things, but sincerely talk to Him.  3, Seek God’s face on a daily basis and in all that you do.  And 4, Turn from your wicked ways.   Then, and only then, will God give an ear to us from the heavens.  This is when mercy is poured out upon us and we are forgiven through the blood of Jesus.  It is God that declared this not me.  He said, ” If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)  If you are not doing these things now, start today.  God wants to forgive you, but you must listen and do as He says.

Not only will God hear us and forgive us our sins, but He will heal our lands when we do what He says.  God’s eyes are upon those who are sincere in their prayers to God.  This means that we stop all forms of prayers that are recited by memory, quick prayers, but sincere prayers to God.  In our humility, we acknowledge that we need Him in our lives and so we let Him in.  By doing this, we examine ourselves and repent of all our sins.  This means turning from them and to God.  In these confessions, He gives us the strength to overcome the enemy and live for Him instead.  God has declared, “now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.” (2 Chronicles 7:15)  Many more people would be forgiven, and have no worries come death, if they would just do those four things mentioned above.  Amen.

Let us pray:
God, have mercy upon us. We are sorrowful for our sins. Look into our souls and see that we are sincere. We no longer desire to live in willful sin but have forsaken them to live for You. God, this world is so dark and we have no defense to fight against the enemy without Your presence. Therefore, we acknowledge our need to have You in our lives. You are the one that helps me know what to do in this life that is beneficial for my soul. This reassurance from heaven is what I need in order to know that I am on the right path. Thank You, Lord, for having Your way in my life. This life is hard, but with You in my life it is easier to bear. Your peace is beyond my earthly understanding. As people mock and persecute me, You are the one that helps me endure in the faith. This life is short, but in the end, I will be with You for all eternity. This is what I live for. I love You, Jesus. I give You, praise. Thank You for saving me. Amen.
