Christians Do Not Celebrate Halloween

Christians do not celebrate Halloween.  This is because God has opened up our eyes to the darkness and evil contained on this day.   I wonder why people participate in the festivities on this day, as it is of the devil. However, by people’s fruits, you will know them. I am speaking the truth, although it may appear to sound judgmental.  We all make judgment calls every day. And what I am telling you now is righteous judgment. Jesus said, “judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” (John 7:24) By people’s fruits do we know how people are for the Lord, even when it comes to this holiday, Halloween. It is made easy to spot people who are not living for God but Satan on this day. They are like people in this world who decorate their houses on Halloween, dress their kids up in scary costumes, take their kids out trick-or-treating and/or trunk-or-treating, and hate it when people even mention Jesus on this day. What has happened to people? Can they not see the darkness and evils in this wicked holiday? Do they really think that God is for it? If not, then why would the same people who say they are believers be for it? Christians live for God, not the flesh.

This is the truth of God. Halloween is evil and I pray that people will repent for celebrating it. The Lord is absolutely against Halloween and so are true Christians. We cannot put one foot in the things of this world and have another in the things of God. Jesus taught, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matthew 6:24) If people truly want to be saved and go to heaven, then they need to learn what it means to live out every day of our lives for Jesus. No day is an exception to the rule. if you say you are a Christian, then live it out every day. No exceptions like Halloween. We aren’t Sunday Christians, but are followers of Jesus each day. Abstain from what appears to be evil, which in this case is Halloween. Paul taught, “prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21,22) Now live by these standards. Don’t just read what is taught in the Bible, but live it out. Be a light in this world and not a participant in what is evil. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will repent at large when it comes to the celebration of Halloween. Surely, many people will say that they are innocently celebrating the things on this day and should not have to repent of such wicked affairs. Do they not realize that we are all sinners and when our sins are found out, we need to confess them? You have said in Your Holy Word that we are to abstain from the appearance of evil, and people are not doing this if they are celebrating Halloween. Do they not realize that they are allowing the demonic forces in their lives by decorating their houses, and their children in scary costumes? Lord, help people understand how evil this day really is. How it isn’t all fun and games, but demonic through and through. Thank You, for opening my eyes to the works of darkness. Today, You sent me off in my neighborhood to warn people that Halloween is the day of the devil. Many people got upset, while others were convicted of their sins. I am grateful for You giving me this boldness to share Your gospel truths. I love You, Jesus. I am unafraid to tell Your truth to the world . Amen.

  1. Amen! Christians don’t celebrate Halloween. Halloween is evil. It’s Satanic. It’s like giving yourself over to Satan for a night. Not a smart move! Try Jesus Christ and live for Him alone.
