Halloween: The Devil’s Holiday

There are reasons why Halloween is the day of the devil. It glorifies Satan, the dark arts, and the occult. Satanic decorations on houses also glorify the devil. People even dress up in costumes that resemble the demonic. Paul said, “neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27) Therefore, it is better to not participate with the events on this day. We are called to abstain from the appearance of evil. To not ourselves to the devil. To not give Satan any footing in our lives. Paul also said, “prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21,22) Do you believe this?

God has called us to stay away from occultic practices. For example, calling upon the dead, which is necromancy.  Witches love this day, which is sorcery.  Christians are set apart from the world. In everything, we do it unto the Lord, not the world. Live in God’s holiness every day, not making an exception for one day. Don’t allow darkness to prevail. It is written, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2) Do you do this?

The reasons why supposed Christians celebrate Halloween are many. They are unable to see the evils of that day, as they are blinded. People are used to this world that they forget they are called to not be of the world. God has been trying to tell them how evil Halloween is, but people do not listen. Paul said, “wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” (2 Corinthians 6:17) God calls us to not celebrate Halloween. I hope you can now tell this by now.

Be a follower of Jesus on this day and every day likewise. Jesus came to bring us life and light from above. Ask yourself, am I a real Christian or am I like everyone else? A good tree does not bring forth bad fruit. Live this day and all days for Jesus. Anybody who lives for Jesus is no longer the same person, but lives in God’s holiness, as God is holy. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17) As Christians, we don’t celebrate Halloween but live for Jesus like every other day. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will destroy all their tarot/magic cards, Ouija boards, and anything that resembles the occult and the dark arts. If people would simply do this for Your sake, they would also seek to live in Your light and holiness. God, the devil’s holiday, Halloween, is coming up soon, and I am afraid that too many so-called Christians see no issue with this day. Today, I was walking the streets, and people who said they were Christians saw no issues with decorating their houses, and taking their kids out trick or treating on Halloween. This is very say that they cannot see how demonic this day really is. Open their eyes, God. I love You, Jesus. Amen.

  1. Amen! Halloween is so evil. It really is Satan’s holiday. Stay away from it at all costs in Jesus name! It will bring nothing but demons to you.
