Loving Everyone, Even False Witnesses

No matter what happens in this life, I will continue to trust in and rejoice in God, my Savior. Life is not always easy, especially because of sickness and death. Although my flesh is weak at times, I am made strong in the Lord. The poor and the needy, do I look for and assist when the opportunity arises. It is God that causes me to do all this, along with go out and witness His truths to people. In doing this, many people have risen up against me. False witnesses hate what we do for God, in leading the lost to Jesus. Some even smear our names in the most vial fashion. Therefore, they will die in their sins, lest they come to Jesus and repent. David spoke of a similar situation in his time and said, “and my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation. All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him? False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.” (Psalm 35:9-11)

Even though many people say some terrible things about me as a Bible-believing Christian, when these same people are sick, I am willing to go to their house and pray for them. The same thing happened with my sister who was telling me and others that I had autism, and this is why I act the way I do when it comes to Jesus. I rebuked all this as her being Mormon and hating the fact that I stand against her cult and her cultish teachings. However, when she was sick I came to her house and prayed over her, and soon after she was healed. David had a similar encounter when he wrote, “they rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.” (Psalm 35:12-14) Every person in this world is deserving of our love and assistance, no matter our differences. Amen.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I want the Mormon people to know that I love them. I might come with a message that rebukes the teachings they know as truth, but out of respect, I am only helping them know what is really true from the Bible. And not me alone, God, but because You are with me, I am able to go out and talk to people because of the boldness You have given me. Thank You for continuing to trust in me, although I am a sinner and occasionally fall. Who is it that lifts up my sorrows and forgives me of my sins? It is You, Jesus. Who is it that gives me strength when I am weary? It is You, Father. Who is it that leads me by the Hand and gives me words to speak? It is You, Holy Spirit. You, God, have been the inspiration for my life. Although the message that You have given me looks obscure to the lost, they are wise words in Your sight and those who are saved. There is nothing I can do that is good without You? Lord. I love You, Jesus. I give You everything. May more people who are lost come to You and be saved. Amen.
