Justified Through Faith In Christ

My friends and brothers and sisters in the faith. It is through Jesus Christ, our Lord, that we can be saved. We are justified through our faith in Him. He came down to this earth to save us from our sins and now it is our time to respond to His atoning sacrifice for sins on the cross. Will we now repent of our sins and fall down at the feet of Jesus in prayer? If so, He will lead us out of a life of sin and into doing good works for His kingdom. These works are the fruits of our salvation. Those that accept His sacrifice are those who are now covered by His blood and are also forgiven. Paul wrote, “therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:1-5) Our faith in Jesus is what justifies us being saved. It leads a person to go through tribulations and even persecutions with His strength, and even deal with it with much patience. God strengthens us when things are going good and bad in our lives. And these experience leads us to have more hope in Jesus over time. Even to the point of not being ashamed of telling anyone about Jesus Christ.

Paul continued by teaching us, “for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:6-10) I hope you read and understood what Paul just said. Without Christ, we are all ungodly and unrighteous before God and have no hope ahead of us. This is when we did our own things, while doing our best in life, but continued to fall because of temptation. This led to sin, addiction, and unbelief. But all this changes when we receive Jesus. He has opened the door unto us sinners, that through His blood we are justified and forgiven. And here is God’s promise for you, me, and the world. If you accept that Jesus died for your sins and live our lives in faith towards Him, we shall be saved. This will save the ungodly from going to hell and dying in their sins. You see, Jesus is the door to eternal life in heaven. Come unto Him and He will graciously open the doors unto You when you pass on from death unto life. It will be a good day when you hear the words, “well done though good and faithful servant”.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we will all begin to know You the way it was meant to be from the beginning. That in prayer, people will cherish their time with You. Even to the point of just basking in Your presence for minutes to hours. I am left in awe each time I sit and think upon You, God. This simple meditation, God, often leads me to cry out to You about things that I’ve never said before. I am also able to hear things about my life and what needs to be improved, of which I am so grateful for that wisdom from heaven. If I have strength in this life, it comes from You. If there is patience, it has come from Your hand. No matter what storms come my way, I am ready to go through them because You are there with me. There are no more worries about what will happen next because You always lead me to greener pastures afterward. I simply trust in You, God, to take me by the hand and lead me every step of the way. Because I have grown so much in the faith, I no longer wish to fall into sin. The lusts of the flesh have only led to fleshy addictions, of which I always fight against afterwards. It is just impossible for me to overcome them fully without Your divine help. There are therapy groups, but what I need is Your power to break every chain of darkness. And Lord, thank You for breaking those chains in my life now. My life is secure in Your promises. Each day do I come unto You for more and more insight and knowledge. Help me to grow daily in the faith. I love You. Amen.
