The Sin Of Fornication And Pornography

My friends, I come to you this day out of love, even though this message may come as a rebuke from God unto those that are living in sexual sin, namely fornication and porn. I love you so much as to tell you truth from God’s Word, that you may not die in your sins and go to hell. Do you not know that believers in Christ are also His followers? So why do many of you also walk in darkness because of sexual sin outside of church? I am speaking to those people who in secret look at pornography and have sex outside of marriage behind closed doors. Please know that this is not the life that a child of God should be living. In reference to this type of sinful lifestyle, Paul said, 1“be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” (Ephesians 5:1-5) Did you get that? He said to not have fornication (sex outside of marriage) be named among us who believe in Jesus. Why does he say that? Because such people are not really followers of God, who are living for the flesh instead. And these people are not saved, lest they repent, but are on the pathway to destruction. If a door to heaven is not opened to people who live in sexual sin, then if they die in their sins, they will enter hell and be burned instead.

Does it alarm you to know that in our willful sins, we will not go to heaven when we die? If it doesn’t just yet then know that Paul also said, 1“let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;).” (Ephesians 5:6-9) My friends, as the Bible says, God’s wrath is upon the wicked. These are the children of disobedience to His holy commands and live for the flesh instead. If you are a follower of Jesus, then you would also know that the fruit of the Spirit is righteous living, as Paul said above. We don’t live for the flesh, but in God’s holiness instead. We don’t try to do things that are in secret, so that we can get away with doing what we want, like have illicit sex and look at porn. This is evil, my friends. God sees and knows everything and you have not gotten away with one thing. Paul said, 1“for it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” (Ephesians 5:12) I pray that this wakes people up to repent and get right with God. It is the Lord’s desires that people do not look at any woman naked until they are married. It is 1“for this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.” (Ephesians 5:31) That we come out of this life of sin and hold our passions for our spouse in marriage. This is living God’s way. We don’t justify living together before marriage as well, but confess those sins, along with casual sex, and porn to God, that we may be cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Then, we will not want to do those things again but live for God instead.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that people will wake up to their sins this day. That people will stop messing around in sin but come to You, God, for full deliverance. There is a time for temporary pleasure in the flesh, but also a time of reckoning before You in judgment. And I do not wish to see more people go to hell because of their life of pornography and fornication, which is sex outside of marriage, but to see more people come to faith and repentance. So deliver such people who are currently under the bondage of sin and death unto new life. Will You also lead them to good people in the faith, who will be able to fellowship with them, and also help them on their journey? I fear that lest this happens that people will go back into their evil tendencies once again. Therefore, also awaken more people in the faith to open up their doors and lives to people who are struggling in sin, but want out. To find such people and help them find rest in Your presence is what is needed. Lord, You are so good to us, and it is about time that we showcase this same kindness and compassion towards others in need. Even these people who were in the bondage of sin, but have repented, as believers, we voluntarily seek to help them. So that they are prayed over and also to our same Bible studies. This is the fellowship they need while being in homes where the Holy Spirit is present. Surely, people can fall, and fall again into the same sinful lifestyle, but until they know how to start living differently, will they slowly go back on the same path of destruction, once again. So instill in these people that already cried out to You in their confessions, desires to read the Bible daily and to pray often. Then, will You be able to fill them up as You have filled me up, and lead them also on the path of righteousness. I love You, Lord. Your ways are pure and holy, and I will cling to You all my days. You are my Savior and I give You praise and glory. Amen.

Ephesians 5
Ephesians 5 (KJV)
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
