Always Something To Share About Jesus

In every season there is always something to share about Jesus. During Christmas, we are here to remind people that Jesus and His birth is the reason for the season, not Santa Clause. It is not about all the gifts we can receive, but our minds are focused on Jesus. If we are moved to purchase something nice for people in need, that is showcasing God’s love through you. During Easter, we are here to remind people about Jesus and what He did for us on the cross and the resurrection. This is the reason for the season, not the Easter Bunny. It may be fun to hunt for Easter eggs, but our focus should be what Jesus did for us on the cross and that through Him we have forgiveness of sins. During Halloween, we are here to warn people about walking in darkness and doing things that God hates. Even if it one day out of the year, we are to continue looking to Jesus and allow His light to shine through us. And every other season, holiday, family gatherings, trips, and while we are on the streets, we let the Holy Spirit lead us. In doing this, God opens our mouths and gives us words to speak to people. Though in our flesh we may feel afraid to talk to people about our faith, God gives boldness to those people that trust in Him. We are then able to do things that we were not able to do on our own before like heal people that are sick, preach the gospel, and witness to people one on one.

Evangelism is a gift of the Spirit, of which showcases your true love towards God and your fellow man. And when you get this gift of God the Spirit will be so strong that all you will want to do is share the gospel message of the cross and resurrection of Jesus, while helping others. This we do, for Jesus said, 1“go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:15,16) We do this willingly, as God’s servants, for 2“we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:20,21) This is the reason why we go out and witness for Christ. Our love for Him and others leads us to do this. Even our hearts are moved to help those in need. Therefore, the homeless are also assisted by our efforts to love everyone as Christ loves us. It is amazing to think of all we can do when Jesus and His Word is alive in us. So keep reading the Bible daily, praying often, while desiring to do God’s will above all else. Then, will you do great and mighty things in God’s kingdom. And though it isn’t not you doing the work, it is God’s mighty hand working inside of you, because of your faith in Jesus.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so blessed to know You and to pray to You now. Thank You for being there, even right by my side, to hold me and to bring me into Your presence. I can feel Your abundance of love and light all around me. Thank You, God. Oh, how I love You. Every time You take me in and put Your arms around me, I know that I am the luckiest person to be alive. Why is this? Because I am free. God, because You love me so much and never want me to fall, I am able to walk differently. Things I never thought I could do, I am able to do now, because You are there right with me. Yes, Lord, You have given me freedom from my sins, that I might experience what true joy and happiness is all about. I don’t have to worry about different sins, bad habits, and addictions wrecking my life, for You are my shield. Surely, the enemy will never prevail as long as You are for me. Lord, You have done great things in my life and I give You all the praise and glory because of it. If I have become a witness for You, while on earth, I am honored to be one. Because the Holy Spirit is in me, my heart breaks to see so many people in the world that are lost and are in need. Therefore, it is the least I can do to share the gospel with them and to help any person that has a need. And because I know that You hear our prayers, to pray with them is the least I can do, for your healing is for me and everyone that has faith. I love You, Lord. You are my greatest delight. All I desire is to lead people to You and to be with You forever. Amen.

Mark 16
1Mark 16 (KJV)
1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.
12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
2 Corinthians 5
22 Corinthians 5 (KJV)
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
