Follow Jesus And Do His Will For Salvation

There is salvation only by following Jesus and doing His will. I promise you that living against God’s will is not the right choice, for it places you on a path of destruction. You will surely regret living in sin, come death. As Jesus said, there are only two places that people can go when they die, eternal punishment, which is hell, or life eternal, which is heaven. Anyone that is smart and is using their brain in the right fashion is choosing the Lord’s path and will one day be with God in His kingdom. This decisions means that their walk has been conformed to God’s will and not their own. We go to Him in prayer, in order for Him to see us in our wicked and sinful state, that a repentance process may begin. This is when we turn from those sins that are holding us back from being saved, and start following the Lord and His will alone. We allow Him to take every evil thought captive, in order for good thoughts to form instead. Surely, with God in our lives, we are able to walk in His holiness and be guided by the light of Jesus. This is when we are able to do as Jesus taught and begin to bless people’s lives. Every time that we feed and give drink to the homeless, we have done it unto Him. Each time that we find somebody on the streets and give them a ride to their destination, to church, or a homeless shelter, we have done it unto God. When we give our money or clothes away to people, in order to clothe another person or person’s kids that don’t have as much, we do it unto the Lord. When we approach a person that is sick and pray over them, we are doing this unto God. When we visit those in prison and tell them the good news of Christ, we are doing this unto God.

Jesus taught, 1“and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” (Matthew 25:33-46)

Everyone in this life will one day die and have to meet their maker in judgement. As Paul taught, 2“it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” (Hebrews 9:27,28) As is taught, come judgement day, people are either going be found innocent or guilty. The one key factor is if people believed in and followed Jesus for salvation. One thing people can be thinking about, when it comes to God’s will is if they are loving on people, as I and Jesus mentioned above. If we have not or have never done the things that have been taught, then you are not ready for judgement day. I gave example after example of what Jesus taught and if you believe in Him, then you will be found doing these good works unto others. Please know that your faith in Christ will bear fruit, if you truly believe in Him. Real faith is doing His will for good of others. These types of people are covered by His blood and their sins are forgiven. Jesus already paid the price for sins, but people need to look for Christ in their lives, in order to be covered by the blood that He willfully spilt for all mankind. Only through our Lord and Savior can we escape the everlasting damnation, which is hell. As Jesus taught above, the way we treat others and obey His commandments, shows our love towards Him. In doing this, he is able to 1“set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” (Matthew 25:33) The real question is, are you for Jesus or against Him. The way you can answer Him is if you are following Him and doing what He says, by way of the Holy Spirit, or not. Make Your choice to follow Jesus, starting today.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will be saved, before their own life ends in death. May more people come to know You, Jesus, for salvation. I know that so many people have a good chance at going to heaven, if they would just listen to Your gospel message and receive You. The problem is that people are not willing to give up what is sinful, in order to follow You. So many things are holding people back, Lord, that their priorities are all twisted. Surely, there is life eternal and a place with no more tears or sorrow waiting for those that would believe in You, but their evil deeds are keeping them from You. Oh, how I wish that people could see themselves in the mirror and know how sinful they have really become. Maybe then, would they desire a Savior in their life and seek after You, God, in prayer. In their confessions would they be able to see how good You really are and what they have been missing out on. There is so much joy in this life that people have never discovered and this is because they continue to get help from people and not a higher power for their addictions. They are only giving themselves over to the devil, that he may attack them more and more. What people need is Your shield to protect them and then would they find a way out of sin and temptation. No person is free from sin, until they deny themselves and follow You, Jesus. Only by doing as You have taught us can we find a way out of sin and find true happiness that never ends. We are more than capable to walk in Your holiness and be saved, but people need to be seeking You and giving You a chance to lead them. I trust in You, God. You are my rock, of which I stand on. I love You. Amen.

1Matthew 25:31-46 (KJV)
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

2Hebrews 9:24-28 (KJV)
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
