Help Stop The Slaughter In Abortion

Abortion is wicked in the sight of God. It is so evil that killing newborns is the same as killing unborn babies. It was Moses and Jesus that were even born when babies were being killed. During those times, the ruler of the land was very wicked and hated the Israelite people. In this anger, did these evil men have many babies killed. By the direction of the Pharaoh, the babies who were born male of the Israelites were thrown into the river and drowned to death. This was his charge, 1“every son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save alive.” (Exodus 1:22) Because the Israelite people were multiplying and mighty in the land of Egypt, he wanted to stop this at once. Therefore, he did this evil deed and innocent babies lives were killed. By the direction of King Herod, every child that was two years of age and younger was killed by the hand of the sword. 4“He slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.” (Matthew 2:16) This was in order to kill Jesus, and stop the Messiah from coming into the world. And because of the slaughter in the land, this was the cry of the people in Jesus’s time, 4“there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.” (Matthew 2:18) The people in Moses’s time also wept for their children that died in a similar way. This was a travesty that happened in these two different centuries. Now a days, abortion is allowed and the slaughter of babies has never been worse.

Through abortion, the unborn baby has no rights and women can do whatever they want to them. As long as the baby is not yet born, then killing is allowed. This is wickedness in every form of the word. People have not become better on this earth, but worse. Let me explain. It all started with the Pharaoh, in Moses’s time, who killed the male babies of the Israelites. Then it got worse in Jesus’s time, where King Herod had all the children two years and younger of the Israelites be killed. Now, our time has come and the courts have ruled in favor of women, of any race, to have their unborn child killed if they want to. So it went form male babies only to be killed, targeting one group of people, then babies two and younger, targeting one group of people, to now, targeting unborn babies from all people. This shows how evil the world has become and is still getting worse to this day. Too bad not every women could think like Moses’s and Jesus’s parents, who hid their son’s for a time, that they may be safe. It says that Moses’s mom 2“saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.” (Exodus 2:2) She could not stand to see her son be killed. It would be nice if women in our day felt the same way about their children, born or unborn? If this was true, then more women would have their babies and not abort them. Abortion could become illegal if politicians read the Bible and trusted in God’s words. Now, as Christians, please fight along with me and stand up for the rights of the unborn. Abortion is evil and needs to be stopped. Who is with me in standing up for God’s command that says, 3“thou shalt not kill?” (Exodus 20:13)

Let us pray:
Lord, I pray that people will get the help they need, when they find themselves in desperate situations in their pregnancy. In all their stress, encourage them to know that there is still peace to be found. If they but put their trust in You, all things will work out for the good. They may not have the money now to pay for the pregnancy or raise the child, but I know that You will supply their needs. I know that there are many people praying for these women, along with myself, who wish to help them and even adopt their unborn babies, if they would just go to term with them. We just wish, Lord, that they would see the worth of every unborn child, just as You see them. How precious are Your children, for You our creator and formed us in the womb. How could anyone stop Your beautiful babies from going forth into this world and becoming Your light? Children are a blessing and I can just imagine the millions of lives that could be on this earth now, helping Your cause, if they could have just been given a chance at life. So Lord, please pierce the hearts of all people, in regards to this topic. There is a travesty when it comes to abortion and I pray that this will stop in Your holy Name, Jesus. May every Christian stand up for life and for saving the lives of the unborn. I know that this cause is valiant, but we need people to get out of their comfort zones and do what they know is right. It is You, Lord, that I love and happy to fight for. All the way, will I follow You. Lead me wherever You want me to go. I am Your child and I trust in You, Jesus. I love You. Amen.

3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink.
4 And his sister stood afar off, to wit what would be done to him.
5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
6 And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children.

3Exodus 20:1-17 (KJV)
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,
18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.
