The Beast

In the end times, Satan will release a beast from 1“out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” You would not think that a beast such as this could deceive anyone to follow it, but Satan or the dragon, however you want to call him, works in ways that are so deceitful, that many people will fall because of him. He surely knows how to make evil appear good and good appear evil. He can also reproduce miracles, in order to deceive the very elect of God. This is true now and will be even more evident when the times of the great tribulation comes to past. And if you are wondering how this will go down, John write the following. He said, 1“and I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” So, after the beast got severely hurt and then miraculously got healed on its own, the majority of people thought it to be an act of God and worshipped him and his father, who is Satan. This is truly how it will go down and if you are not ready for this time now, then repent and come to Jesus, for this world will only get worse before it gets any better.

John also makes it known to us the purposes of this beast. He said, 1“And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Wow, for 3.5 years this beast will reign on the earth. His purpose, of which is to cause the name of the most high God to be defamed and his name and the dragon’s lifted up instead. It was also his mission to fight against the saints of God and cause them to stumble and regret their decision to even believe in Jesus in the first place. As was mentioned, people would begin to believe more in the beast then the Lord in those days. And every one of them that made this decision are also those that are not saved and are not written in the book of life. And so it is said of every believer in this time that 1“he that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” These times of trial will be severe, when it comes to those that continue in the faith. As they will be in captivity of the wicked and many will be killed by the sword. People’s faith would be tried to even their very death, because of their standing faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Now, if you thought that after this beast’s reign was done, the turmoil on the earth would stop, then you were wrong unfortunately. For contrary to what people may have thought, a second beast will also rise from the earth. This is what John saw, 1“I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” So we have another beast coming about that spoke like a dragon. He has the same power as the last beast and caused the people to worship the first beast. Many great wonders was done by his hands, even fire from the heavens was seen by people of every continent through news outlets, along with YouTube and Facebook. In this manner, were millions of people deceived and even an image was erected to the beast. This same statue had the ability to talk and anyone that did not worship it would be killed.

As you will see, what the people thought was good in the beginning, will soon end up being more to take on then they’d ever imagine. Imagine people turning to idolatry to the beast and even being killed if they do not oblige. This is communism in every form, therefore, the armed forces will be trying many people’s hands to do their own will, instead of what people want. You will see this in what John concluded in this chapter. He said, 1“and he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” So along with forced worship of a beast, people were also forced to get the mark of the beast or else they would not be able to even buy or sell anything. Having this mark in their right hand or their forehead was the only way people could survive. And we know that 2“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.” Therefore, it is very important to not risk your salvation for even food or drink in these times. It not worth losing our own salvation, while also being sent off to the lake of fire come judgment day. So stay strong in the Lord always, my friends.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that we will be ready when the last days hit us. Even if those days are now, may we be ready to serve You in the most trying times to come. I know that in the great tribulation our faith will be severely tested, even unto death by the hands of the wicked. So I pray that myself and others that love You now will not lose hope in You and Your promises. Surely, times may get difficult and hard to bear, but I know that after this life all of our worries and cares will be over. We may not have peace in every moment of this life, but the day that we are with You in heaven, all our tears will be wiped away. Thank You Lord for Your great love for us. I know that You don’t wish us to suffer on earth, but You also cannot control the wicked and allow them to do their own things because of freewill. That is so awesome of You, Lord. You don’t control anyone and allow people to choose what they wish in life. If people decide to follow You, then there are blessings in this life and the next. To those that do not, then they may have joy now, but their punishments will be upon them in the next. Justice is served for the righteous and wicked because of those that repent and others that stay in their unbelief. It is so great that You are able to see though people in life and know who truly loves You. For this reason You were called to be our judge and is able to do that job better than anyone else. It is in Your hands that we have forgiveness and mercy. Your compassion has no end. Thank You for saving me, when I thought my days were numbered. I am so grateful Lord and I owe all to You because of this. I love You and I say these things in thy holy Name, Jesus. Amen.
