Cross Dressing Is An Abomination To God

It is a sad thing to know that even people that say they are believers in Christ, truly do not know God’s truth. It is because of a lack of prayer and knowledge of God’s Word that this happens. Therefore, these same people are unaware of God’s commands and what is abominable and very sinful in His sight. Don’t you think that if you wanted to go to heaven and be with God, that you’d also like to know what He teaches? If your answer is no and you still want to go to heaven, then you have something coming to you. For only those people that know and do God’s will have entrance. All others will be denied, and instead, be tossed into the lake of fire. This will be a horrifying time for every unbeliever come judgment day. Yes, this will be a day when every so-called Christian will get the most devastating news of their life. They will be so upset because of the punishments that God has upon them. Now, this is not God’s fault that these people had to come before Him and be surprised by this. It was always there error, because of their own choices. Because God’s Word was not important to them, they lived out their own lives instead of His. Don’t let this be a shock to you, come judgment day, but become right with God, starting today. Know God’s teachings and rightfully obey them. For even Jesus said, 3“if ye love me, keep my commandments.” So with that said, how is your love for the Lord?

What does the Bible say about abominations to God and what is sinful in His eyes? Well, today we will look into two passages of scripture, in order to answer this question. #1, we will look into Deuteronomy, chapter 22 and verse 5. And #2, we will look at 1 Corinthians, chapter 6, and verses 9 through 11. So let us get into God’s Word and start with Deuteronomy. It reads, 1“the woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.” Now make note of the word abomination here, for it only appears once in this chapter and it is clearly speaking about cross dressing. It talks about women dressing up like men and men dressing up like a women, and doing such things is abominable in God’s sight. And please note that what is abominable to God is wicked and He hates it. This verse cannot be more clear than this about how God feels about this topic. So, if you say you are a Christian, you will not be around nor dress up like a transvestite. This includes being with and associating in homosexuality. For Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6 that the effeminate will not inherit the kingdom of God. Effeminate, meaning a man with woman characteristics and clothing also. These things are repulsive and not tolerated with God.

Now let us finish our reading from 1 Corinthians, chapter 6, starting with verse 9. It reads, 4“know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” As you can see here, from these verses, there are many other sins that will also keep a person out of heaven, besides cross dressing and being homosexual. This also includes every porn watcher, fornicator, adulterer, idolater, drunkard, reviler, and extortioner. Since God does not stand for such wickedness, we should not either. And as Paul said, those that are convicted of their sins, come unto Jesus that they may be washed clean. Only Jesus can sanctify our lives and lead us from temptation. However, without His guidance and direction, we are left living our own lives out, which only leads to our own destruction and death. 2So choose you this day to serve the Lord and He will break every chain of addiction and sin in your life. You are not capable of changing your life on your own, but He can if you are willing.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am so grateful to be brought out of this world and to find freedom from all my shame. My life was so broken before I found You, Lord. You know as well as I do that my life was not for you. And every time I looked at pornography or committed adultery, the guilt was raging inside. It was so hard to control myself back then, for I had no armor. I knew that I could not hold back and it killed me to fall victim to the same sin over and over again. So I needed something that was permanent. I needed something that would change my wicked heart. That was when You stepped in Lord. In all my brokenness, I called upon Your Name and You answered me. Every word was heard, as You put Your arms around me. What I needed was support and a way out and Your presence did it for me. You reassured me Lord that I could break free and it started the day that I came unto You. That day that I gave You my life was when miracles started to happen. For You took away my desires for porn and replaced it with love for You and one another. You saw how I treated women and molded me to treat them with respect and kindness. I always wanted to do this Lord and You were the one that shaped my life accordingly. Thank You for taking my wicked heart and allowing me to be born again. I am a new creature because of Your great love. I owe all to You Lord. I love You. Amen.
