Hell And The Lake Of Fire

There is one place that nobody would ever want to set foot in. This place is called “hell” and is worse than anything we have ever seen or experienced. That includes the scariest movie ever depicted on TV. Imagine demons, devils and other creatures being used by Satan to afflict the souls that are there in. What is worse is that once you are in this place, there is no escape. Imagine dying and then finding yourself in hell. And while lifting up your eyes, you find yourself 3“being in torments”. Where, all the day long people are being tortured and also afflicted by the fiery flames. Speaking of this wicked and vial place, Solomon said that 1“hell and destruction are never full.” There is always room for more people to come into the clutches of the evils that await them. As Solomon just brought up, those that are on this road to destruction are also in route to hell. Speaking of this path, Jesus said, 2“enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” As we have learned from the Lord, this place called hell is where the majority go. Why is this? Because few people are on the narrow path, as Jesus described. This is very sad to hear, since most of the same people that would never wish to set foot in hell are also going there. Wow, what a terrifying moment that will be when their life is all set and done. As their souls await heaven, instead their wickedness has just sent them down to the depths of hell, where they await judgement.

John prophesied of the white throne judgement. Where 4“the dead, small and great, stand before God.” Among these people are those in hell. Those people that were dead, 4“were judged every man according to their works.” And as they were found guilty, 4“death and hell were cast into the lake of fire”. If you thought hell was bad, imagine being thrown into a lake of fiery flames that never ends. Every person in this place will experience terrible pains and torment forever. You may ask who will be there? To this question John makes it clear. He said, 5“but the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.” These people knew of their wicked ways but still lived in that fashion. Jesus did not mean enough to them, in order to be cleansed from all sin. His teachings did not penetrate their hearts enough, in order to have them repent and come forth with fruits of righteousness. Therefore, these people chose their own path, apart from God. And anything that does not have God in the mix is not good but evil. That is why these lost souls will forever be separated from the love of God. And where this is no love, there is only pain and sorrow. There is hope, however, and it is in Christ the Lord. Come to Jesus and be made righteous through Him. Heaven awaits those that believe and follow the Lord Jesus.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, as my heart is for You, it also aches to know of so many people on a road to destruction. These wicked people don’t even realize the torments that await them because they chose to live apart from You. Oh, the wickedness in this world is too much and people can’t even tell the difference between good and evil anymore. People’s minds are so messed up because Your words are not in their hearts. If they would just seek You with their whole hearts they could also know, as I have experienced, the truth of all things. They would realize how far gone they have become and repent before it is too late. Yes, Lord, I pray for an awakening of not only the unbelievers but also the so-called believers. That their souls may hunger after righteousness and be removed from all the filth in their lives today. May they give themselves over to You and be cleansed by Your blood. May the Spirit of God move upon these people that are path to destruction and hell, until a change occurs. Nobody has to go to hell and, for that reason, I pray that these people may find You and be saved before their last breath. May they no longer put off the day of their repentance but come and confess their sins this day. You are the Lord of all. Please deliver these people into Your hands, my Lord. I love You. Amen.
