The Lord Leads And Directs Our Paths

The Lord God leads us to the truth and gives us freedom. Those that are open to Him will be forgiven and find answers. Most people, however, find things on their own. As Solomon taught, 2“the preparations of the heart” are 2“in man.” This is why people stumble in life and are therefore on a path to destruction. However, the answer is God. We may not know how to act and speak kindly to others, like Jesus, on our own, but we can do all things with the Lord God in our lives. It is God that comes inside of us and moves us to do His will. That is why Solomon said, 2“the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.” If we desire mercy and forgiveness it is in the Lord. Only He has the power to lead us and guide us on the right path in life. Everyone else will eventually let us down but God will never fail us nor forsake us. Moses said, 1“be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” You can trust in God and be delivered from bondage. Every sin, He can break the chains. Please understand that 2“all the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits”, as Solomon put it. He knows what we’ve done but does not wish that we suffer. Therefore, He desires that we repent of our sins. I pray that you will lead Solomon’s advice and 2“commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Do you not know that God is our creator? He truly has power over all things. Therefore, He has the power to forgive you of all your sins. There is nothing that we have ever done that He does not have the power to forgive. 2“The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil”, as Solomon stated. It saddens God to think that so many people have and will reject Him and therefore not be made clean. They had a choice to make and they chose the latter. These are those that are full of pride and are not open to the truth of God. They think they have it all figured out but instead, there will be a big wakeup call in judgement. Solomon said, 2“every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.” Nobody wishes to have the wrath of God poured out upon them. Either does God wish to do it. Therefore, He beckons us to come to Him in repentance. He does hear our cries, each time we pray. And 2“by mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil”, as Solomon said. What is amazing is that 2“even his enemies” can one day 2“be at peace with him”, as Solomon taught. This is because our God is full of grace and longsuffering. He is so compassionate for the lost. We all have lost our way but God can get us back on track. Lastly, Solomon taught, 2“a man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” I pray that you are one of these people that God is leading.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, we need You. We know that we have let You down so many times, but we are sorry. We need Your mercy and forgiveness in our lives. Hear our cries and confessions, this day. Please give us over to Your mercy and grace. We long for Your healing hands to come into our lives and give us freedom from sin. Help break the chains of addiction. Lead us away from every evil way. Whatever is holding us down, come and snatch us free. No longer allow the evil one to have control over our lives. We desire to live in Your light and no longer be bound in darkness. Help us overcome every temptation that comes our way. You have the power to raise us up and give us the strength we need to overcome it. Surely, we are stronger with You in our lives. With Your hand, we can walk safely on the path of righteousness. I trust in You Lord and know that You can do all things in my life. Lead me always in Your ways. Direct my paths all the days of my life. I love You. Amen.
