Seek Wisdom From God

Have you ever loved something so much that you would do anything to know more about it? This type of wisdom is sought after and unfortunately found in all the wrong places in our technology age. The latest tech is always the biggest news and those articles get millions of hits a day. Even the latest phones are all the rage, along with their ability to talk to it. When these types of posts come out, it is very well regarded and shared and talked about with others freely in conversation. Let’s not forget the new movies and TV shows that are coming out. People spend so much time watching trailer after trailer and reading reviews. And lastly, porn is the most searched for thing on the internet. Because it attempts to fulfill the fantasies of people young and old, they are drawn to it. No matter, if these lustful passions are leading them down a dark path to destruction, they still find their pleasure in it. This is so sad that people would rather fill their minds with the abundance of this world and the lusts of the flesh than to find wisdom and understanding from God. 2This is why there are few that are saved. People want to go to heaven but do not put forth the effort. They’d rather say they believe and not forgo the things of this world. Therefore, they never give themselves over to God fully. Many things in this life are good to know but if the Lord does not approve then we must leave these evil practices behind, to be saved. 4And know this, that God does not allow filth in His kingdom so all you porn watchers will be shut out. 3You must be born again to enter.

I counsel you all to find true wisdom in life. The type of wisdom that is found only in the Lord. The knowledge we gain in this life can help us but true insight comes from God. These are the attributes of a person that learns from God. They say, 1“doth not wisdom cry? And understanding put forth her voice?” Yes, these people are anxious to learn from the Lord who saved them. They’ve been made humble in God’s sight and therefore gain wisdom. 1“O ye simple, understand wisdom.” However, those that are knowledgeable based on the things of this world are fools. To them, God says, 1“ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.” He encourages them to seek after His kingdom first and then they will be wise. If you have sought after God before, then you will know that he speaks truth and 1“wickedness is an abomination” to His lips. And because everything within Him is righteous and nothing perverse, in His kingdom is the same. No one can even walk into heaven, if they are filthy, for they are shut outside of its magnificence. Because they are not clean, through the blood of Jesus, they cannot enter. God says, 1“pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” The words of God are 1“plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.” God wants all of you to receive Him and His words, then you will be able to withstand the evils of this world and be made clean. By giving into the counsels of God, you also show your love for Him. God says, 1“I love them that love me.” What He gives is greater, seek Him.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that more people will have a desire to find wisdom within Your presence. May they begin to seek You above all things. May they start to read and then treasure Your words of the Bible. I know that Your words are holy and are pure and righteous. We can draw nearer to You daily as we read. Lord, my greatest understanding has come, while reading the scriptures in the Bible. My mind is filled with wisdom and counsel for my day. It also helps me know what to do and say to people. When Your words are in my heart, I am able to walk and obey and not fall into temptation. For You are there, listening to my prayers and leading me. These are the times that the wisdom, found in the world, is better understood for what it is. If it is useful, then I am able to pick up on it quickly, but if it is filthy, it rings clear to my mind to stay far away from it. Lord, You help me discover what is good and forgo what is bad in this life. Without You, I am truly walking blind and on unstable ground. Thank You for giving me a new heart. Thank for healing me of my lustful desires. Only You could transform a person such as I. I am renewed in Your blood. Thank You Lord for Your forgiveness and mercy. I love You. Amen.
