Come Out Of Sin And Be Baptized

God is calling out our names. He can see the decisions we are making on a daily basis. Some things we do honor Him but other things dishonor Him in a big way. Understand that your choices are good if they are based on your dealings with the Lord. Anything outside of Him can be joyful in the moment but that joy never lasts. The world offers abundant joy in many different things but we must watch out lest we fall. So often do men and women fall into the lusts of the flesh and end up doing things that then regret. But the appeal is so good, so do people say, as they justify it. It brings pleasure and for that reason, they indulge. No matter the seared conscience it takes upon the person, they do it for the rush of the moment. Whatever your vice is, give it up now. 1“Her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.” 4It may seem insignificant now but if it leading you to sin than it is also pulling you away from your first love, which is Jesus. Hell is real and anyone found living for the world has a place there.

Will you now 1“ponder the path of life” and where it is leading you. If you are not in a good spot with God, then repent. Any addictions in your life are not worth it. Come to the Lord in prayer, with confession, and ask for forgiveness. The Lord is merciful to those that are sincere enough to change their life. And this can happen. You can start yielding to the Spirit, instead of the lusts of the flesh. However, you can’t do this on your own. You need to ask God to lead you away from temptation. 2And if your desires are to be made clean and to walk a new, then be born again. This is the only way to enter the kingdom of God. If you have 3“received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.” Allow the Spirit of God to come into your heart and change who you are. If you have not been baptized, decide today to so. In baptism, you are buried and then raised up with Christ. Just as He died for our sins and was risen the third day. Our sins are no more as He quickens us 3“together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.” This will jump start your walk with God. It is also a way showcase your faith.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I am grateful for this new life. My old life never had joy that lasted. I found pleasure in all the wrong things and all it did was bring guilt and shame. I hated the person I once was but could never escape it. It wasn’t until I came to You Lord, that all this changed. I had no way to escape the bondage of sin but You knew how to free me. Though I was held down in chains, You lifted them and showed me the way. My old ways were dead and I was finally renewed through Your blood. Thank You for hearing my prayers. My confessions were many and You listened and had mercy for my soul. You are such a merciful and loving God. I am so grateful to have discovered Your great love for me. I would be so lost without You. I never knew that joy could last. You have opened my eyes to the truth and I cannot get enough of it. I am so grateful that I went all in and got baptized. This was the day that I was filled with Your Spirit. It has led me to where I am today. Thank You for Your guiding hand. I am stronger with You in my life. I love You Lord. Amen.
