Fellowship With Others And God

When we live our lives in unity, God’s presence is able to abound. It is so good to just sit and talk with people and see them so open to the conversation. There is no arguing, for their sole intents are to learn, not just from me or someone else, but from the Lord.  Our hearts are open to God in prayer.  When our hearts are knit with each other and God, all we desire is to be one with Him. We desire to know of His ways, that we might abide in it. Our hearts are intently open to what God would say and do in our lives. We aren’t resistant but welcoming to the Holy Spirit. Being among other people with this same love for God is amazing. So much more can be done for the strengthening of one another when we come together for God. It is not us that want to showcase our great knowledge or service with others. If God has granted us knowledge, we give praise. We give all the glory to the Lord for doing such great things in our lives. If He has moved us to love someone, we could not have done it one our own, without the Lord moving us onward. David was right on when He wrote, 1“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” You can also add in sisters to the mix.

Those in the faith, come together in fellowship, one with another, for this is church. 2We are all the members of Christ. We have all been given gifts from God and come together to share these gifts and therefore, strength one another. I come together with you all to share the truth of God. It is a blessing from the Lord to share His message of hope. May you come in unity with God as you read this message and read from God’s Word. Just as John said, I also declare, 3“unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.” It is my pleasure to witness for Christ. He is my Lord and my God. May we all come in unity in the faith and of the knowledge that Jesus is the Christ. That He is the Savior of the Word. 3“The blood of Jesus Christ” 3“cleanseth us from all sin.” When you realize this, it will come naturally to submit yourselves to God. Come and let us fellowship with each other and the Lord. Let Him come into your lives and give you new light. Confess your sins, for 3“he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” If you have been cleansed, give thanks for His mercy.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, may all people in the faith come in unity and love for one another. May our desire to fellowship with others in the faith become a desire in our hearts. I pray that You spark this interest in each of us. May we not only desire to learn from You but also the brethren and sisters in Christ. You have given us all great gifts and it is a pleasure to share them with one another. Lord, I know that I could not have the boldness to share the gospel without You giving me this desire. You have opened my mouth and filled it with Your words. May there be people in my life to share Your love with. May Your light shine forth in my life and the lives that I touch. Lead me to people that are in need of Your love. Help me encourage them and love on them as You would. May we all, in the faith, come together often in fellowship and love. I love You Lord. Amen.

1Psalm 133 (KJV)
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

21 Corinthians 12:12-28 (KJV)
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

31 John 1 (KJV)
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
