God Has Preserved His Word

The Lord is on our side. If the Lord had not been on our side, people would not be standing true to His Word now. The Bible would have been banished a long time ago, but instead it has survived the test of time. The enemy has not won the battle, for people have not given up on God.  His words have power to change our lives if we let them.  Because God’s Word has been so impactful on millions of lives, we are able to read the Bible and cherish it, today. The Word of God stands true, to this day. God’s people have not been given over to the wicked but watched over and protected. Those that love God, know this to be true. Their strength comes from none else but God. As children of God, we say, 1“our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Where else could we go for never ending peace and joy but Jesus and His Word. We know that daily prayer and Bible study is what brings us closer to God. In God’s Word, our minds are conformed to His ways and not our own. God’s ways are good and righteous. It is a pleasure to abide in the Lord and learn from Him. In prayer, our hearts are given over to God. We know that God hears our prayers and we love His counsel. It is a joy to thank God and praise His holy name. A relationship with God is manifested as we seek His hand in our lives. This faith is what saves us all from death and into His light.

God’s hand is in people’s lives today. This is the reason why Christianity is so strong. Look at the Bible and what God’s Word has done. God’s Words have impacted the hearts of millions, for it to the best-selling book of all time. The manuscripts of the Bible have been carefully preserved throughout time, because of its immense value and worth to our soul. It is in the homes of millions of people. God’s people cherish His Words above all things. There is a big reason all this is true. The Lord God has made this is all possible. God’s hand can never be stopped. His Spirit will continue to move in the hearts of people that trust in Him. The verses of the Bible will continue to fly off the pages and speak to our hearts, if we just let God have His way inside of us. There is insight and knowledge to be obtained by the God of the heavens, if we simply open our hearts to Him fully. Allow the Lord to pierce your hearts by His Word. 2“The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.” Will you allow the Lord to piece your heart, this day? I pray that you will allow this to happen. Read all of God’s Word and give yourself over to God in prayer. It is amazing, the things that God can do for those that trust in Him.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I love and cherish Your Words. Your words have impacted my life more than I will ever know. Every time I read, I am amazed by the words of the Bible. The verses truly pierce my soul and bring me closer to You. For so long, I resisted the promptings of the Spirit and I am sorry. I would skip over verses because it went against my way of life. The Word of God was hard to take in because of my sins. But Lord, I know that You tried to speak to my soul and it was I that resisted. I know now that it was meaningless to disregard Your wise counsel for my life. If I am not living by what the Word of God says, I am in the wrong and am sorry. Thank You for taking me in and showing mercy for my soul. Thank You for Your forgiveness. I will never stop the Word of God from changing my life again. Lord, I do not wish to be apart from Your love. If there is sin in my life, please make it known. May Your words penetrate my hearts to repentance. I love You more than the things of this world. Amen.

1Psalm 124 (KJV)
1 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

2Hebrews 4:1-13 (KJV)
1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
