Give God Your Time And Walk With Him

When we are walking with God, we do things for God’s glory and not our own. We do not wish to be lifted up ourselves. Just as David said, 1“Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake,” I also give God glory. I have nothing to gain than to walk in His light and rejoice in His abundant blessings. I love to win souls for Christ. This is what brings me great joy. 4When people repent and are saved, the heaven’s rejoice, as does my heart ring out in praise. 2I offer my life freely in God’s harvest. Whatever the Lord wills for my life, I am ready and available. I will go wherever He leads me. The Lord God is my hands and feet. If I simply do His will, then that is enough to make me happy. Seeing people give their lives to Christ is such a great blessing. An even greater blessing is when the Lord Jesus pulled me out of a life of sin. He gave me a chance to repent and I took advantage of it. I am so grateful for God’s mercy. I am changed because of His great love for me. Because of what Jesus has done for my life, all I want to do is praise Him and share His truths to the world. 3I know that many will deny their chance to repent and come to Christ but I will never stop looking for the lost sheep. 5The Lord is looking for people with a humble heart, ready to awakened from their sleep. He has the power to raise them up, out of their slumber, and into His joy.

As I talk to people on the streets, some have brought up examples of why God doesn’t exist. This is such a tragedy that people think this way. 1“The heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.” They may not see God now, but the Lord will manifest Himself unto those that believe. I pray that these people will cast aside their idols. 1“Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.” All the money, phones, tablets, computers, tv’s, cars and other things are only temporary. Don’t put all your hard earned time in doing things that don’t last. Give the Lord God your time and effort. Don’t get caught up in your lust and having the next best thing. Be content and allow the Lord to guide your life. Don’t put your trust in idols, made with hands. 1“Trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.” There is more to life than the things of this world. Trust in God and He will lead you to do great things, that will give you eternal joy and happiness. 1“The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us.” Understand that the wrath of God is real and repent. 1“He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.” We can either fear God now, and come to Jesus and repent, or fear Him, after death, in judgement. It our choice. However, I have chosen to 1“bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.”

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, my life is Yours. Whatever You will for me, I will do it. Have Your way inside of me. Move me to repent of all my sins. Help me know how I have fallen short and how to get back on track. I no longer wish to walk apart from Your love. Have mercy upon me. Please forgive me. Help my faith grow, each day, that I read the Bible and pray. May it be a shield when temptation strikes. Lead me to You and away from the temptations of the devil. I know that the things of this world do not bring lasting happiness. I am always left wanting something greater. But with You, oh Lord, I am at peace. You have shown me the right way. My desires are to serve You. You are what brings me eternal happiness and joy. The things of this world are nothing compared to Your love for me. May my faith continue to grow. May my love continue to reach other people. Help me to better share You gospel with everyone around me. I know Your ways are true. It is an honor to serve You, my King. I love You. Amen.
