Repent And Rejoice In The Lord

If you are saved then give God praise. 1“O give thanks unto the Lord” and 1“call upon his name.” Jesus says, 2“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Let the Lord know how you are feeling. Pour out your heart to God in prayer. Let Him know how grateful you are for His forgiveness. 1“Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him” and 1“talk ye of all his wondrous works.” Come to the King of glory and rejoice. For you were once dead but are now alive. Your eyes have been opened to the goodness of God. What has been spoken to you has finally been considered, tried and tested. You are no longer an observer to Jesus and His salvation, for you have also sought after the Lord yourself. Instead of being a bystander and relying on another person’s faith, you went the extra mile to be saved. It is true that nobody’s faith will save us. No matter their impact upon our lives. If what I am talking about is not true to your life, then consider what I am saying. Only Jesus can save you. If you were to die today, and neglected to know Him, then there would be crimes to pay. If you are not on His side, then you are against Him. The blood that Jesus spilled on the cross, has no merit for your life. Why is this? Because you do not believe in Jesus. Only those that believe in Him are saved.

Have you considered what it would be like if you were to die today? Are you ready for judgement? Think about your life before God. Are you worthy to be called into His holy presence? When you think upon God, 1“remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.” God is all powerful and just in all things. Everyone that does not believe upon Him for salvation, will be severely punished. For they have decided to live a life on their own. In doing so, they die in their sins. Instead of allowing the Lord to make them clean, they neglect the opportunity and eventually it is too late. Oh the filthy rags, all unbelievers will carry, as they slowly walk before Jesus in judgement. They will be quivering in fear as they near His throne. They will know, in their hearts, that their destination is hell. 3Whereas the believers of Jesus will be in white robes, for the blood of Jesus has covered them. How joyous it will be when they are ushered into heaven. Please know that Jesus 1“is the Lord our God” and 1“his judgments are in all the earth.” If you are not on His side now, you have the opportunity now to repent and live for Him. What choice will you make? What side will you take? The choice is yours and will carry you into all eternity. Think upon these things and come to Jesus.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, I pray that all people will take this message to heart. May all our hearts come to know You. I pray that those that have had an opportunity to repent, will do so now. May we never neglect this opportunity again. Lord, I know that I have strayed many times. I am so grateful to have not died in that state of wickedness. I know the path I was going was hell. Thank You for continuing to prick my heart, while I was in sin. Thank You for continuing to bring people in my life to encourage me to live for You and not this world. I know that You sent them. You prepared the way for me. You gave me many opportunities to repent and be made clean. Finally, my heart was given over to You and my life has never been the same. Oh the joy I had been missing out for years. I had missed out on Your mercy and grace. Only through You, my sins are forgiven. Thank You Lord. I never thought You cared so much for my life. I love You Lord. Amen.

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

2Matthew 7:7-11 (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

3Revelation 7:9-17 (KJV)
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
