Two Types Of People

There are differences in someone living in sin that understands they have fallen away from God and another, and another that doesn’t have any fear at all for what they are doing. So we have two different people. One person that see’s their transgression and it cuts them to the core and another person that lives wickedly with no thought of it being wrong. Let’s discuss the differences of these people. A person that has gone to church and read the Bible understand there are passages in the Bible that speak about their sin. This grieves them to the heart, for they know that what they are doing offends God. This makes them feel unworthy for their sins. This type of person is being convicted by God. He desires that they listen to Him and repent. Only then can they be cut loose from the bonds of sin and be made clean through the blood of Jesus. Many church goers live this way, but what makes them Christian is if they have listened to the call from God and acted on it. Only the Lord can renew our minds and give us new life. 5If you know of Jesus and read the Bible but still live in addiction, then repent! Give heed to God’s counsel, turn from Your sins and follow Jesus. Jesus died on the cross that we might be forgiven. Make the choice today, to be set free in the Name of Jesus. 4Believe in Him and You will no longer live by the flesh but by the spirit. You will understand His ways and have more joy than you will ever comprehend. 2May you come to know the Lord and let His light shine within you.

3There is a second individual that is on very rocky ground, and at any time it could crumble. 7Health issues or a sudden accident could strike the person dead and before they knew it, they could be on their way to hell. Why is this? Because, they didn’t have a foundation on Jesus Christ. He wasn’t the rock of their salvation. Instead, these people didn’t care about what crazy things they were doing. To them, what Christians say is ludicrous to them. We learn from psalm 36, 1“The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.” The wrath of God is upon everyone that doesn’t fear Him. 6How severe a punishment will a person receive in judgement if they were found disrespecting God in this life. Nothing good can ever come to a person that blatantly disobeys God. This is true about the first person we talked about and the second person. Both types of people have time to repent before the end has come. For the person number one, he or she just need to heed the counsel of God and repent. The person number two, simply needs to have an open heart to learn from God and follow His counsel, that leads to repentance. I pray that both types of people come to know the Lord. What everyone has in common, that submits to Jesus, is humbleness and a desire to change. If that exists than the Lord can do great things inside of them and help them do things that they never thought were possible.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, convict the hearts of all people. Convict those that have learned of You but have fallen away from Your path. Help them understand the errors of their ways. Give them a desire to repent and turn to You for forgiveness. Convict those that live a life in the world. Help them understand that their ways are not Your ways. Give them a humble heart to learn about the gospel message of the cross. Cut down their pride that they might understand what they are doing is wrong. Humble them, that they may receive Your message of hope with gladness. Help everyone desire to read the Bible and pray.  Let Your words convict us of our faults. Lord, show us the errors of our ways when we are doing the contrary to what Your Word says. Lead us to do what is right. We want to follow You. Thank You for Your mercy and Your faithfulness. 1“How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God.” Your grace has given me hope. I am redeemed because of Your great love for me. I love You. Amen.
