There is a big misconception on what the world says is good and what God says is bad. The question is, where does your heart lie? Do you side with God and His teachings or the teachings of man? The Bible teaches about the vile acts of sexual sin and of those acts in masturbation. If you are thinking, why talk about this? Then you are misled into believing it is OK. The definition is to defile our own bodies with our hands. What gives us over to do this? It is not God but Satan and His demons. If you easily give way to this passion of the flesh then you are being controlled by a demonic force. You don’t have the power to rid yourself from these chains of addiction but God can. 2“All things are possible to him that believeth”. Just like the man that was possessed by an evil spirit, you can also be made free. Jesus calls out to all of you that are covered in this sin, 2“thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.” Do you believe that God can free you from this guilt and shame that accompanies this sexual act? You aren’t feeling this way, for no reason at all. God is speaking to your hearts and minds. Listen to His counsel. Only He can change the way you feel and act. 6Take His chastisement with favor. 3We are called to flee fornication but if your hand keeps defiling your body then you are not listening. Jesus said, 1“And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee”. When you are masturbating, your hand is offending your own body and God. Remove yourself from this sin by casting your sins upon Jesus. He will then cut if out of your life.
3Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and it is not our own. Each time you defile it with pornography and then masturbation, you are driving out the Spirit of God. You may say you love God but you are not walking in the spirit but in the flesh. You are not of God but of the world. You were 3“bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” It is your choice. Would you rather be made clean and be saved or continue in your wickedness and go to hell. Your lack of repentance is known before God. He knows if you have been made clean by the blood of the lamb or not. If this is not the case then you will not be saved but thrown into hell fire. Live for Christ and 5“possess his vessel in sanctification and honour”. Let your heart be no more defiled in the ways of sexual sin. Masturbation, among other sexual sins will only ever give a person temporary satisfaction but forever shame and guilt if not repented over. God can break your chains of masturbation, if you let Him. God can free you from bondage, just believe. It is sad that so many people are living in this sin and have not repented. They have not been forgiven by the blood of Jesus. People may think it is not sinful but then why do they also feel guilt and shame, each time they do it. This is not only sin but grievous in the sight of God. Those that can’t control themselves in masturbation are being controlled by an evil spirit. We must repent or be judged harshly by our sexual immorality. 4The sexual immoral will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Let us pray:
Oh Lord, only You could free me from masturbation. You freed me from pornography but my urges to look at it and to masturbate were still strong. I remember trying to fight it on my own but I continued to fail. It wasn’t until I came to You and asked for You to remove my urges to masturbate that I became free of it. Praise the Lord! For after confiding in Your power, You released the evil spirit inside of me. I am made free from the evil acts of the sexual nature because You put a new heart inside of me. Thank You for caring so deeply for my needs. I pray Lord, that anyone in this sexual sin will trust in You for deliverance. Deliver them from the power of darkness. Lead them into Your light. I trust in You. Only You can do all things for those that believe. I love You. Amen.
