Pornography

I am here to talk with you about pornography, because I truly care for you. I love You so much as to tell you the truth of the repercussions of living in this sin. The truth is, looking at porn is very sinful and abominable before God.  It is also adultery and this very sin will keep a person out of heaven.  One of God’s commandments even says, 2“thou shalt not commit adultery.” And Jesus said that each time you look upon 2“a woman to lust after her” you 2“hath committed adultery with her already in” your heart. The Lord is speaking to you, if you are involved with such filth.  You may think there is no harm in it but God’s wrath is boiling over upon you. Can you even count the number of times you have looked at pictures and videos and committed adultery? You have not done this vial act by way of persuasion but by your willing heart, in the sight of God. God’s commandments are sacred and you have shattered them in pieces by how you live your lives. We are to keep God’s Word with utmost respect but you still defile it without reproach. This addiction has led you to masturbate and possibly have thoughts related to homosexuality. You have started off by letting your lusts get the best of you and then elevated that lust to do the most awful and disgusting things known to God. 1Your sin is much like the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah, except now your sexual nature is being openly accepted before men. This acceptance is not worth eternity in hell. If you are in pornography than you are in chains. The Devil has you captive. Come out of it in the Name of Jesus.

How deep are the sins of the world we live in today. Technology is wonderful for many different reasons but also very destructive in the lives of millions. It’s hard to believe that people are deliberately choosing to search for porn sites in order to be aroused sexually, each and every day. It isn’t just the young crowd, but the older generation as well. Viewers come in all sizes. The unbelievers of Christ, and the so-called believers are viewing it as well. People think their secret life doesn’t matter, but it matters a lot, not only because their salvation is on the line, but their relationship with God is suffering. One day, all these grievous acts will be displayed in judgement. Some people believe that as long as they have faith in Jesus, then it will save them, as sinners in this addiction. Don’t be deceived! 4If you are deliberately walking in sin after receiving Jesus into your heart, then God’s forgiveness is not for you. 6So without forgiveness of sins, then these people that are damned will be shut up in hell and then cast into the lake of fire for all eternity.  Hell is where the devil and his demons will have reign over them. Their screams of torment will not help their chances of escaping the fire and brimstone. Hell is not worth it. 5If you are not cleansed by the blood of Jesus then you are not saved, and will not go to heaven, lest you turn to Jesus. So repent and let the Lord help you turn from your wickedness and into His light. You may not have the power to change, but Jesus can help you. 3Confess your sins openly and ask for forgiveness. Say Lord, You mean more than all my lust. Make me clean. Help me be holy in your sight. I need You.

Let us pray:
Oh Lord, lead us by the hand. Cleanse our thoughts that we may think of You and not of this world. Our flesh is weak and willing to fall into the littlest temptation. Pornography is ramped and I do not wish it in my life, Lord. Though the evil thoughts come, Lord, give me strength to resist it. I am weak but You can make me stronger. Cast my eyes upon the kingdom of God and Your righteousness. Break every chain that has me bound. Deliver me from Satan’s power. I trust in You. You are my deliver in the storms. Give me a heart to read the Bible daily, that Your words may be on my heart. Help me to pray and confide in You. May my faith be stronger than every evil stronghold. I love You Lord. I do not wish to do things that would discourage You to believe in me. I am running. Catch me, Oh Lord. I am Yours. Amen.

(Sodom and Gomorrah)
1 Genesis 19:1-11 (KJV)
1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

(Conession of sins leads to salvation)
3 Romans 10:9-11 (KJV)

(A time when forgiveness is not in sight because of willful sin)
4 Hebrews 10:22-27 (KJV)
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

5 Revelation 7:9-17 (KJV)
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
