God Said, Thou Shalt Not Kill

The sixth commandment of God states, “Thou shalt not kill“. Often we think of this commandment being related to murder. However, Jesus expanded on the meaning of this commandment when He said, “Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.” He taught that killing is just part of the equation that will lead us to hell if we don’t repent and trust in God. Along with murder, the Lord said to not be angry or call someone Raca or a fool. Raca is speaking cruelly to somebody, as to make them feel worthless. When we are mean to another person it only brings sadness and pain to the person we are speaking bad about. To call someone a fool means to that person that they are stupid. These actions lead people to depression. Think about what you say and how it affects the other person before you say it. What we say can bring many scars in the lives of others. If you’ve hurt anyone, say sorry. Make things right with them by showing kindness and consideration for their needs. Repent and ask the Lord to change your bitter heart. Trust in Him and He will be gracious enough to forgive You.

Strive to live as Jesus lived on earth. He was the greatest example of how to treat people with kindness. The more we seek Him in prayer the more we will begin to have His same traits in our lives. Instead of tearing people down we will lift them up. We will speak about the good of other people more so than the bad. Even when the bad is necessary to talk about, we will do so out of love. If we see people being bullied we will stand up for them. Lead by example and many great things can take place in your lives. If you strive to have Jesus in your life than His light will be with you. The Holy Spirit will lead you to do many good things in His Name. Love your neighbor as yourself, each day, and your lives will change forever. Your relationship with God will increase. To love one another is to love Him. The more kindness we share to everyone around us the more kindness we show towards God. I am grateful that the Lord can use me to do His work. Many wonderful things have taken place in my life because of Him. I am happier than ever before. And all l can say is happiness is contagious. If we are up beat and caring towards others, good relationships are fostered. Thank You Lord for tearing out the hatred out in my heart. I had built up so many walls but you tore them down. My grudges were undone through Your matchless power. My cruelty has been turned in kindness towards others. You have changed the very way I think and act around people. Your love has shaped the person I am today. Thank You for Your wondrous love and mercy. I love You.

Matthew 5:21,22 (KJV)
21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

  1. I will have to say that sometimes you have to break ties with some people. For example I had to get to a point with my brother that I no longer can ever allow him in my apartment and I had to tell him that last year for Safety Reasons.
The other is I have a real reason why Trump is an Idiot. He is Cutting Funds that are to help people with Disabilities. He is going after health Care and making what was a pain in the ass called Obama Un-Care which now is Trump Un-Care that is even worse. There is more on Both Issues that can’t be explained unless you want to read a endless page novel.
