To Be Grateful

Think about how many times the Lord has been there for you. When you pray His presence is near. It is like His arms are all around us. He hears our cries and dries our tears. He forgives us without even thinking twice. He takes us back no questions asked. There is nothing like His mercy. He lifts us up when we are down. Now think about how often you are grateful for what He has done for you. How many times you go on with your day without giving Him thanks. How you ask for His counsel but don’t open the Bible to read His words. Let this day be different. Look all around you and admire all that the Lord has done for you. Express your thanks in prayer. Thank Him for everything He has blessed You that day. Thank Him for this new life. Anything that is on your heart, give it to Him. Open up your hearts and express your love for Him. Let His light shine down upon you. Feed upon His wisdom and learn of Him through reading His Words.

The day our hearts are given solely to the Lord is the day our lives are changed. We will begin to pray more often and seek to learn through the Bible. We will learn to be compassionate towards others. Our hearts of gratitude will be given in praise and worship to our King of kings. We won’t have to be asked to glorify His Name but live to honor Him already. For we long for Jesus in our lives. This is a life born again in Jesus’s love. Oh Lord, Your grace overflows in my life. Your mercy has changed the way I feel inside. You have set me free from the chains of sin. Thank You for Your great love. Your love gives me hope. I am honored to be enriched in your presence. You bless me immensely each day and my heart is beaming with gratitude. I praise You. You do so much and ask so little. What I offer You is my heart. Take it and do as You will. Use me to do Your great work. Teach me to know You better each day. Enlighten my soul daily. I believe in You. I love You.

Ephesians 1:15-19 (KJV)
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
