Who Will Enter Heaven?

What does Jesus require of us to enter heaven above? He taught, “blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Those that love the Lord are humbled to be in His presence. They need Him in every way. Nothing in this world can satisfy them like the love of God. He goes on to say, “blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” In order to walk in the presence of God we must be made clean. Through repentance our sins are forgiven. We desire clean hands. We welcome the Holy Spirit to search our hearts. Jesus continues, “blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” When our hearts are convicted of God’s truth we are compelled to share it. Even through trials and tribulations our love is secure in Christ the Lord. All those that love the Lord Jesus, will be welcomed into His presence. These faithful followers of Jesus will be accepted into the heavenly realms. Paradise is awaiting all that live a life for Jesus. We shall rejoice when we see Him in heaven.

Jesus has taught us how to live our lives in order to inherit the kingdom of heaven. It is made clear that sinners will have no place there. All the wicked people will be sent to hell. There is no escape there. For this, it is vital that we examine our lives before God. If our souls aren’t in desperate need of a Savior than we are on the wrong path. If we are living a sinful life but believe we are saved because we go to church, we are only deceiving ourselves. It may sound good on the surface but Jesus will not know you. How can we be in the light of Christ if we aren’t sharing His message with others. Living a life for Christ will compel us to love one another and help bring souls to Christ. It will be in our nature to live a humble life. Things of this world will not give us pleasure but what we find in the Lord. We will be delivered from temptation as we seek the Lord. He will make us spotless as we repent and desire holiness in our lives. Keep these teachings in your hearts and live as Jesus taught. In doing so, you shall be saved. I believe in You Lord. My heart is yours.

Matthew 5:1-11 (KJV)
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

1 thought on “Who Will Enter Heaven?”

  1. I haven’t seen such a good job of cherry picking since the last harvest season. Who under heaven is without sin? It is made clear in the scripture and our own experience will tell us the same truth.. “ALL HAVE SINNED, AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD”.. But you are right as well for no unclean thing will enter God’s glory (Revelation 21:27).

So what can we do? On ourselves we are all unclean before a Holy God. Jesus on the other hand in 100% pure and righteous. No matter what we do, how good we try to be be fall short of His righteousness. Are we all then damned? If that is the case why even bother trying to redeem mankind at all? So what is the whole truth?

We have to remember ALL of God’s word is truth so yes we are all sinners. We are hopelessly lost. No matter what we do there in no way we will or even can find a way out of the damnation our nature prescribes for us. But that is half the story. The second part is best stated by the Holy Spirit through Paul.. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (1 Cor 5:21)..

We don’t become righteous. We are made righteous in Him. He never sinned by became sin in our place, We didn’t do, nor can we do anything to save ourselves. He is our Savior. Without Him and HIS WORK we have no hope.. So now that we who believe have received His righteousness how do we respond? Do we go on living for the flesh or are we born of Him and live to bring Him honor? Again I turn to His word.

“What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? By no means! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?” (Romans 6:1-2).

Let’s agree to tell the whole true not just the side of it we want to foster..
