Good Shepherd

Thank You Jesus for rescuing me. You are my good Shepherd from on high who gives me great hope. Because of your sacrifice on the cross I am restored. My old self is done away and I am made new in your love. There was so much holding me back but that is over now. I began to hear You calling for me and I finally sought You out. My closed heart was now open to your commands. Though I disregarded You for so long, You never gave up on me. You took me by the hand and led me back into the flock. I was lost and You found me. You loosed the veils that were clouding my vision. I can see clearly now. Your truths in the Bible jump out at me. I love every word. You teach me through each passage of scripture. I know the way now, and it is through You, Lord. There was a miracle done in my life and it because of You.

Jesus, You truly “seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away”. I was so broken until I discovered your love. You “bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick.” Your compassion for me cannot be compared. When I thought there was nothing left for me You strengthened me. I am no longer sick but alive in your matchless grace. For I was unworthy of your love but You still sought me out and restored me to full health. Nothing can ever match your great mercy. I was “scattered in the cloudy and dark day” but now I walk in the light. I feed in your good pasture. I never want to leave your side, Lord. You have won my heart over. I choose to follow my Lord and Shepherd. For You lift my head up high. My paths are straight. You have called me to do greater things. Thank You Lord. I Love You.

Ezekiel 34:11-16 (KJV)
11 For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God.
16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
