The Truth Shall Set You Free

It is the truth in Jesus Christ that will set us free. The knowledge of His sacrifice for our sins on the cross is vital for our salvation. We are able to learn so much about His love through the words of the Bible. If our hearts are set on other things but God, we won’t be able to comprehend His great love. People may declare the gospel but we won’t understand the entire message if we aren’t reading His Words. We must read God’s word or else we won’t understand His will. We may say that we believe in His teachings but we are only fooling ourselves if we don’t know them. How can we believe in a God we don’t know? How can we allow the Lord to lead us if we don’t take Him by the hand? The Holy Spirit wants to confirm the truth if we let Him in. The Word of God will lead us on a straight and narrow path that leads to Christ. Our faith will grow when it is on the principals of the Bible.

I pray that we will come to know Jesus Christ personally. That we become no longer hearers only but doers of what God has for our lives. Let everything be more of Him and less of you. Seek to understand the Lord’s wisdom. Seek His knowledge. Come to know the truth in your life. When truth is proclaimed in Church and other situations dive into it. Seek it out. Study it. Let the words of the Bible come to life in your life. God wants to speak truth to you. Let Him in and you will come to know Him. He will abide in your heart. 1The truth will set you free. Jesus will deliver you out of bondage if you let Him in. We are free from sin through Christ Jesus. The truth is in these words. I believe in it. I know that Jesus is our Savior. He listens and answers our prayers. All those that follow Him will one day have eternal life in the life to come. My desire is to learn of You, Jesus. I want more of You. Thank You Lord.

1John 8:31-36 (KJV)
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
