Arise And Be Baptized

I invite you all to come to know Jesus Christ. His love is real. It is like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I can feel a presence that is so warm and loving. It brings tears to my eyes to think of the great compassion that the Lord has for me. To show our love in return, He only asks that we are born again. That we are willing to accept His sacrifice on the cross for us. If you love the Lord and haven’t committed your life to Him through baptism, I ask that you make a commitment to do this. Just as Ananias asked Saul, 1“why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized”, I ask the same to you. Give your life to Him. Let the Lord 1“wash away thy sins”. Call upon 1“the name of the Lord.” and ask for His forgiveness. Let His love come over You and give you peace. By showing your love for Him in baptism you will be sanctified through His blood. He will give you a new life. You will be born again in His love. You will begin to feel a joy you’ve never felt before. A happiness that never ends.

When the Lord forgave my sins I was so happy. My life was changed in an instant. I was so anxious to see what this new life would be like. These next steps would be for Jesus. This is why I gave my whole heart to Him and got baptized. I was so ready to give my life to Jesus. During church service, I sang out and praised the Lord with all my heart. Then I quietly lined up to be baptized . As I went down into the water I could feel my old life being washed away. As I came up I was filled with the Spirit of God. A fire had entered my soul. I was alive in Christ. Oh Lord, my heart is Yours. My life is in Your hands. My trust is in You. Lead me and guide me always. I freely give my heart to You. You’ve lit a fire in my soul. This passion I have inside of me is all because of You, Jesus. It is all for You that I live my life. Thank You for Your gift of eternal life. Thank You for rescuing me from death. Thank You for directing my heart towards baptism. All praise and honor to Your great Name.

1Acts 22:12-16 (KJV)
12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
