Marriage Built On The Lord

God knew that man needed a helpmate on earth. Our Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone”. Can you imagine a day in your life without your mom? We would be so lost if it wasn’t for our mothers in our lives. There are things about our moms that we just can’t describe for they are so amazing. Some amazing qualities about my mothers are the following. They congratulate others. They are so thoughtful. They think of others before themselves. They care for the sick and the needy. They go out of there way for others. They give wise counsel. They are the best teacher around. They are patient with others. They are easy to talk to. They listen to you. They set boundaries. They are unconditional in their love. I am part of such a loving family. They raised me to love God and I am grateful. I love them so much. God couldn’t have given me a better pair of mothers to raise me up in His love. I thank the Lord for all the wonderful mother’s around the world. There are so many mothers who love the Lord. There are so many Christian believers because of their faith.

God desires that we follow the footsteps of our parents and get married. How amazing it is when we can find someone to love for ourselves. The Lord desires that we fall in love with someone that loves Him as much as he or she loves us. He desires that friendship exists beneath the infatuation of love. Good looks will eventually fade away and it is so important to have a rock solid friendship that we can turn to. Our friendship should be alive and well and built on the Lord. We should develop greater feelings for each other each day and fall in love even more deeply for each other. Make time for the Lord in prayer as a couple. Keep your hearts knit with the Lord in worship. We are to be one with our spouse and one in the spirit with God. As we gain more trust with each other. Let God be the center of your marriage. As our love is tied in the Lord, our marriages will grow physically and spiritually. We will grow as a family in the Lord. We are sons and daughters of the Most High God. Come feast at the table of our Lord. He is our King. Come together as a couple and bow before Him.

Genesis 2:18,21-25
18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.”
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
