God Is Most Important

Many times in life we are unsatisfied with things. We might get something amazing at the time however this joy soon fades. What we have becomes dull and old. Something else has come out on the market that is better. It is faster than the last model. It is all the rave and we wish we had it. Our lusts are never satisfied. Nothing in life gives us eternal satisfaction but God. Everything will eventually fail us but God’s love never ends. Our hearts are made glad for He strengthens us. We love His presence. Our eyes are fixed on His beauty for it is glorious. We can hear Him speaking for His words touches our hearts.

The things we do, while in the world, will have no meaning in the next life. Even our greatest accomplishments will most likely be forgotten by our family and friends in the upcoming generations. The only things that will be beneficial in this life are our dealings with God. Living a holy life will keep us on the right track with Him. We will seek to live a life for Jesus. Spending time in prayer will help us develop a relationship with Him. God’s love will come into our heart and burst forth out of us. We will more diligently serve God by sharing His message with others. Acts of kindness will flow from our life. Doing good works will come naturally for we are born again into God’s love.

The Lord’s will is most important above all. Open your hearts to Him daily. He is at the door knocking. Open your minds to His counsel and let Him enter. He will come like a fire. He will burn so bright within us if we make room. Nothing matches the love He has for us. Nothing matches His sacrifice on the cross. Through His blood we are found worthy before our King. Oh Lord, I am nothing without You. You give me joy that never dies. I need your love in my life. There is no one like You. You satisfy my soul. I love everything about You. My life is filled with joy for You are with me. You are enough Lord. You are all I need.

Ecclesiastes 1:8-11
8 All things are full of labor; Man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, Nor the ear filled with hearing.
9 That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.
10 Is there anything of which it may be said, “See, this is new”? It has already been in ancient times before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things, Nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come By those who will come after.
