Very Few Will Be Saved

Very few will enter the Kingdom of God and be saved.  We can’t rely on other people’s testimony of Jesus.  That will not be enough.  We need to experience Jesus for ourselves.  Giving praise to Jesus on Sunday but walking in the flesh the rest of the week will not cut it.  We need to have a heart of praise for Jesus.  Hearing the word of God from another person is not enough.   We need to read the Bible daily so that we can come to love the Lord ourselves.  God requires us to start His course and end it well.  We need to follow Jesus every day.  We need to worship Him.  Pray to God each day that your relationship with Him will grow.

Are you truly devoted to Jesus.  Do you love Him?  Do you worship Him?  Do you put Him first in your lives?  Do you live each day for Jesus?  If you have doubts in any of these areas come to the Lord in prayer and repent.  Ask Him for forgiveness and start your walk anew in Him.  Narrow is the way that leads to Life Eternal and many will seek it but most will not finish the course.  If you believe you are saved by accepting Jesus in your life but don’t follow Him you are deceived.  Your faith will not be full in Jesus until you have given up a life of addiction and sin.  We can’t afford to live reckless lives and expect to be saved.

Let us live a life separate from the world.  Let us seek Jesus.  Ask that His love will fill your hearts.  That you will come to know Him.  That He will guide your way.  That you will have strength to endure trials.  That you won’t fall under temptation.  When you fall, lift yourself up and come to Jesus.  Don’t rely on past perfections but what we are doing today to praise Jesus.  I await the Lord’s return.  I will run to Him each day.  When my last day comes I will know that I have loved the Lord.  I will know that I was never perfect but that Jesus carried me through it all.  I love you Jesus.  You are all I need.  You are worth fighting for.

Luke 13:22-28
22 And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
23 Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them,
24 “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’
26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’
27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’
28 There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out.
